The Greene County Tax Commissioner's office is located at 1034 Silver Drive and is part of the Greene County Government Campus west of Greensboro on US Hwy 278. The Tax Commissioner's office location accepts cash, checks, and Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit card payments. A drop box is located on the side of the office for payments after hours.

Online Payment

The Tax Commissioner is pleased to offer online payment of Real Estate taxes. However, please note that there is a 2.5% convenience fee associated with this service. The Tax Commissioner's office does not charge or retain any portion of this fee and offers this service strictly as a convenience. Please visit the following web site to pay online. Click "search records" at the top of the page to search by name, account number, parcel number, street, etc.

Payments by Mail

Only personal and bank check payments may be made by mailing payments to Greene County Tax Commissioner, 1034 Silver Drive, Suite 101, Greensboro, GA 30642. We accept USPS postmark of Dec. 1st. Payments postmarked after this date will be subject to applicable interest charges.
