In order to download bid documents simply click on the link for that document. You will also have to click on the link(s) for any additional information such as maps that are part of the bid document. Currently we have no way to include the maps within the downloaded bid document.

All of the documents are in PDF format and can be read on any computer as long as you have an application that can read the format. Adobe Reader or Acrobat are the preferred application if you are using Windows. The included Preview application can be used if  you are using Mac OSX.

We currently have a resurfacing and road widening job out for bid. Bids for this job close on Friday 2/26,2010 at 10:00AM. Unfortunately this job is not available for electronic download. Here is a copy of the advertisement:

Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and other things necessary for the following work will be received by the undersigned at the Greene County Public Works Department, 1700 West Broad Street, Greensboro, Ga. 30642 until Friday February 26, 2010 at 10:00AM local time at which time bids will be opened and read aloud.

Project Name: Plant mix resurfacing of 32.17 miles of county road including striping to standard DOT specifications and widening of 3.4 miles of county road including excavation and base work.
