Family and Children Services
The Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is the part of Georgia's Department of Human Services that investigates child abuse; finds foster homes for abused and neglected children; helps low income, out-of-work parents get back on their feet; assists with childcare costs for low income parents who are working or in job training; and provides numerous support services and innovative programs to help troubled families.
Gro Industries (Developmental Disabilities)
The Northeast Health District is comprised of 18 clinics within a 10-county region including Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe and Walton counties. The goal of the Northeast Health District is to offer free or low-cost services to all people within our area and to promote healthy lifestyles among all members of our community.
Mental Health (Advantage Behavioral Health Systems)
The Mission of the Greene County Senior Center is to promote the physical, emotional and economic well being of older adults and to enhance their participation in all aspects of community living. To respond to the diverse needs of the older population and to increase their awareness of all information that affect them directly or indirectly.
