County 911 department recognized
On August 23, 2017, the Greene County Enhanced 911 Center was presented with a Portrait of Success Award at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s 2017 Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) Training Association Symposium held in Savannah, Georgia. The award is a substantial accomplishment and highlights the professionalism of the County E911 Staff.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation requires GCIC to triennially audit criminal justice agencies in order to ensure compliance with applicable statutes, regulations and policies.
An excerpt from the letter that Greene County E911 Director Dan Sinke received reads as follows: “An audit of Greene County E911 was conducted on Monday, June 5, 2017, to assess compliance with applicable statutes, regulations and policies. The GCIC Criminal Justice Audit Report for the agency reflected that the agency was in compliance with all areas evaluated during the audit. GCIC recognizes the efforts made to achieve full compliance. The agency deserves to be recognized for this significant accomplishment. The audit is considered closed.”
Director Sinke is very proud of his Primary Terminal Agency Coordinator Tickisha Combs, Secondary Terminal Agency Coordinator Demetria Armour, and the entire E911 Staff for their hard work and accomplishments.
