On Tuesday, August 29, 2017 beginning at 4:00 p.m., the Greene County Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing to receive public comment on proposed revisions to the Greene County Zoning Ordinance.
The proposed amendments primarily relate to the addition of a new zoning district titled “Short Term Rental Overlay District” and the establishment of appropriate restrictions on and regulation of short term rentals in Greene County, Georgia.
A copy of the proposed Greene County Zoning Ordinance is available for public review during normal business hours in the Greene County Administrative Office located at 1034 Silver Drive, Suite 201, Greensboro, Georgia or online by clicking here. Any person may provide public comment during the public hearing portion of the meeting or may submit written comments.
