Greene County Development Authority
The Greene County Development Authority is composed of six members who are appointed by the Greene County Board of Commissioners, and the cities of Greensboro and Union Point. The Authority is a State of Georgia constitutionally chartered authority, which enables it more freedom than the statutory authority. The Greene County Development Authority operates on a fiscal year from October 1 to September 30, with an operating budget provided by Greene County and the cities of: Greensboro, Union Point, Siloam, White Plains, and Woodville. The current Development Authority Board of Directors consists of:
Chairman: Mr. Rabun Neal
Vice Chairman: Mr. Chris Bragg
Secretary/Treasurer: Mr. Wayne Jackson
Members: Mr. Bob Moran, Mrs. Paula Brock, and Mr. Mark Lipscomb
The Authority currently meets at 8:00 am on the second Tuesday of each month at the Greensboro City Hall.
