Mark is a Georgia native and graduate of Western Kentucky University with a BS in Business. His early career included a stint as a scholastic sales representative for Josten's, Inc. until he moved to Greensboro in 1992 and established Greensboro Jewelers in downtown Greensboro. Mark has served as chair of the Downtown Development Authority, the Greensboro Business Association, and the Foundation for Preservation of the Greene County Courthouse.
Mark and his wife, Susan, live in Reynolds Lake Oconee with their two red dachshunds, Ruby and Winnie.
