Biography
Gary Usry has been a resident of Greene County for 47 years. He and his wife, Machelle, have been married for 35 years, and they have two children. - Gary is owner and operator of a local business for over 38 years and his business was named Greene County High School’s Business Education Partner of the Year. He is a former Greensboro City Councilman for 11 years, and served as Mayor Pro-tem for 4 years – He is also a former member of the Greene County Recreational Board, Tri-County Gas Authority Board, Downtown Development Authority Board and Department Head for Greensboro Fire Department.
