RESOURCES TO HELP FIND THE JOB THAT’S THE BEST FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR EMPLOYER
The demand for workers in our Greene County business community is as strong as it has been in years. Virtually every business has “Now Hiring” signs in front of their establishment. If you are seeking employment here are a few resources to use as you conduct your job search.
- Greene County Website— a list of major Greene County employers and their job opportunities/career website links can be found at Major Employers Job Opportunities.
- Greene County Chamber of Commerce— maintains a job board for its membership which can be found on the Greene County Chamber of Commerce Job Board.
- Georgia Department of Labor— On the Georgia Department of Labor website, job seekers can set up an account and upload up to five resumes, view automatic job matches, search and save job postings, receive email alerts for job search matches, and research careers, employers and training opportunities.
- Private websites such as Ziprecruiter, Monster, Indeed, Career Builder and LinkedIn are also excellent ways to access job openings and career options.
- Job Fairs are often held by companies in our community to assist in finding employees. The Greene County Career Academy at Greene County High School recently held a job fair at which many Greene County companies participated. Networking with family and friends about job opportunities within our community is always a good method toward finding work and following career goals.
