Requesting an Absentee Ballot

Electors wishing to vote by absentee ballot must submit an application to the Elections Office.  

How to Obtain an Application

Absentee Ballot Applications must contain the following information about the voter in order to be accepted and a ballot issued.  Name of Elector

  • Elector's Date of Birth
  • Elector's Address as Registered
  • Elector's Mailing Address if Different from Address on Registration
  • GA Driver's License or ID Card Number or the last four digits of Elector's Social Security Number if Elector does not have a GA Driver's License or ID Card.
  • Date of Election
  • Signature of Elector or 
    • Relative Requesting Ballot on Behalf of the Elector if the elector is disabled or illiterate. 

Elderly and Disabled Voters

Elderly and physically disabled electors may request a ballot be sent to their address for every election in an election cycle by marking the appropriate spot on the absentee ballot application.  A new application must be submitted for each new election cycle. 

When will the Absentee Ballots be Mailed

The Elections office will mail out ballots beginning February 12, 2024 through March 01, 2024.
