Meteorologist in Charge at the US National Weather Service Peachtree City Ga., Keith Stellman, was in Greene County Wednesday afternoon assessing storm damage in the northeast portion of Greene County. His preliminary findings after his inspection on Northwoods Drive, Arrowhead Drive and Quail Trail, were that a confirmed tornado hit that section of the County, estimated to be an EF1 in strength.
A full report will be forwarded to local authorities which will provide wind speeds, track of storm and size.
