Insurance Rating

Union Point has an ISO rating of 4/4y. This results in significant cost reduction for fire insurance for home owners. Union Point Rescue team and equipment have been certified by Georgia Emergency Management Agency.

The Class 4 applies to properties in the Union Point Fire District within 5 road miles of the fire station and within 1,000 feet of a fire hydrant or alternate water supply. 

Apparatus

Union Point has three Pumpers, two tankers (one is a Bucket Truck), one Rescue/ Service Truck, and one Chief’s Truck. Approximately 60% of the dwellings in the Union Point Fire Department District are served by fire hydrants.
