Rebecca Anglin

Director of Elections

Rebecca has worked in elections in every capacity, serving as a Poll Worker, Advance Voting Manager, Election Technician, Oconee County Elections Director, Board Chairman, and Georgia Secretary of State Elections Division System Specialist. She has 20-plus years of election experience. Her passion for her field and democracy is unwavering. She is currently enrolled in courses to obtain her CERA Certification through the National Association of Election Officials with Auburn University. She serves as chair of the GAVREO Voter Registration Committee and is an active participant in the Legislative Committee. She’s also on the Board of Directors with Anchor Point, formerly SANE, Inc. 

Her hobbies include working on puzzles, cooking, reading. Target runs, girls’ trips, concerts, hair days, and spending time with her family & friends.

Menesha Brown

Elections Registrar

Menesha is currently the Elections Registrar in Greene County. 

Menesha has been employed by the Greene County Board of Elections and Registration Office since October 2021. Prior to joining the office staff, she has served as a Consolidation Assistant, Poll Worker, Assistant Poll Manager, and Elections Assistant. In her current role, she oversees processing and maintaining official voter data and records. She is a member of GAVREO (Georgia Association of Voter Registration and Election Officials). 

Her hobbies are spending time with her family, shopping, doing hair, and traveling.

Jennifer Smith

Elections Assistant

Jennifer Smith is an assistant with the Greene County Board of Elections Office. 

In September of 2024, Jennifer began her employment with Greene County Elections. Her responsibilities include answering phone calls, greeting customers, providing information as needed, and processing and maintaining voter data. Before beginning work with the Election’s Office, Jennifer was a stay-at-home mom to her 4 boys. She also owned and operated a small home décor and plant business. Nested Bleu, marketing online and at local festivals. 

Some of Jennifer’s hobbies include collecting and growing unique houseplants, shopping, beach trips, and spending time with family and friends.

Jeania Jones

Elections Assistant

Jeania began her employment with the Greene County Elections Office in August 2024.

She is the first point of contact for the office and provides information and service to the public. She is responsible for processing daily reports and audits, greeting the public, and answering the phone. Prior to her joining our team, she had served as a poll worker in the Oconee County Elections in previous years. She retired from the University of Georgia as the Administrative Assistant and Accounting Specialist in the Workforce Education Department. She has worked in marketing and as a volunteer coordinator for both home health and hospice. Additionally, she served as the children’s pastor for seven years and is currently the events coordinator at her church.

Jeania enjoys traveling, singing, listening to music, reading, writing, playing cards, baking, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.
