Where to Apply for a Permit

Navigate to the Permit Portal to apply for a Single Family Residential Building Permit.  The permit application can be located by scrolling to the bottom of the page. 

Items Required to be Uploaded for a Permit

• Erosion Control Card
• Septic Letter
• Building Plans
• Temporary Power/Tpole Authorization (PDF)
• Subcontractor Affidavit (PDF) This Affidavit must be completed and signed by EACH SUBCONTRACTOR that will work on the job.

Items Required to Be Delivered to the Office

• A hard copy of the building plans, printed to scale, must be delivered to the office for review and approval. 
• A copy of each subcontractor's state and local license. 

Homeowner Acting as Contractor

If the homeowner is also the Contractor, then a Homeowner’s Affidavit must be completed.
